The updated DHHS Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and Adolescents, including an updated section for HIV and the Older Patient, were released on January 28, 2016. The updated section for HIV and the Older Patient focuses on the current recommendation to treat all patients regardless of CD4 count because of the greater risk of serious non-AIDS complications. The guidelines can be found at: http://aidsinfo.nih.gov/guidelines and the section on the older patient is on Page I-30.
